He had appointed a duty to free the battle point of 5140. He got success to capture this point and said ” YE DIL MAANGE MORE“. These lines charged so much to all the soldiers and they became fatality for enemies.
He became one of the biggest challenges for Pakistan’s thats why they called him as a “Shershah” as his codename.
After this mission, he was appointed for a new mission to capture battle of point 4875. He had started this mission with Lt. Anuj Naiyer and all scouts on 7 July 1999. This mission was almost completed but then Cap Vikram found his junior companion Lt. Naveen injured. So he started to take him to secure a place, at the same time he shot at the chest by one hidden Pakistani soldier still he fought and killed every  Pakistani soldier there and waved our Flag. And the last word said by him that ” JAI HIND”.
Once he was in his town with their friends at the starting time of Kargil war, One friend asked him to take care of yourself and come back soon so he replied “Either I will come back after hoisting the Tricolour (Indian flag), or I will come back wrapped in it, but I will be back for sure.”
